New Jersey Transit Plans to Add WiFi

In a move that will draw cheers from long-suffering New Jersey commuters, New Jersey Transit spokeswoman Penny Bassett-Hackett announced its plan to add wireless broadband to all 165 train stations and 12 rail lines.

NJ Transit expects the service to be free, though nothing is currently set in stone, and they hope to have wireless broadband available by next year.

Now, if only other states can get free WiFi hotspots installed on their transit lines. I’m looking at you, New York. Also, while you’re at it, get some cellphone towers down there.

And bathrooms.
