Milla Jovovich in the Fifth Element

Everything Arriving on Netflix in April

Recommended Videos

Spring has sprung, and with it, there’s a ton of new TV and movies headed to Netflix in April.

As we gear up for big events like Avengers: Endgame and the frenetic summer movie season thereafter, April offers the opportunity to watch some entertainment at home before we start springing for movie tickets. There are absolute classics here like Bonnie and Clyde and All the President’s Men that you can finally watch if you’ve never seen them before (but always keep meaning to). And, uh, Deliverance, if you want to do that to yourself?

This also seems to be the month for both slashers (Freddy vs. Jason, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D) and sisterhood (Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants). If you’re in the mood to plot to kill Hitler, Tom Cruise has you covered with Valkyrie. And, of course, Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element is here to showcase Milla Jovovich’s hair and eyebrows.

On the Netflix originals side, we’re excited for part two of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (dropping April 5th), as well as the second season of She Ra and the Princesses of Power (April 26th). In terms of TV, the arrival of Legacies season one means that I can binge watch my trashy Mystic Falls content all in one go, which I’ve been waiting for.

Brie Lason’s directorial debut, Unicorn Store, is coming April 5th.

My picks and/or things I’m interested in are highlighted and bolded for emphasis. Let us know what you’ll be watching in the comments.
