‘Mr. President, please’: Donald Trump managed to say the one thing that has entire communities rolling their eyes

The United States President, Donald Trump, has never been cautious about his public statements. At any given point, when he is asked to comment on something or does so himself, he says the most obnoxious things that can ever come out of anyone’s mouth. Given this ongoing behaviour, it’s no longer a surprise when he says something like that. Still, every now and then, you might catch yourself thinking, “What the heck?”

On November 28, 2025, Donald Trump took to Truth Social to share his Thanksgiving wishes with the people of the United States in a rather unusual manner: by criticising them. He addressed all the “Great American Citizens and Patriots” who had been “so nice” in allowing America to be “divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at,” along with certain other “foolish countries” throughout the world, for being “Politically Correct” and “just plain STUPID” when it comes to Immigration. He continued to criticise the American populace by implying that they had allowed immigrant populations to take away what is rightfully theirs due to their “beautiful hearts.”

He pointed to the State of Minnesota, which he claimed was being overtaken by “hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia.” While emphasising the intensity of immigrant activity in the state that was negatively impacting its residents, he stated that Somali gangs were prowling the streets looking for “prey,” and as a result, Americans are having to stay locked up in their rooms, hoping to be left alone. He even held Tim Walz, the Governor of Minnesota, accountable for the incidents and referred to him with the R-word. He wrote:

“The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both.”

Donald Trump’s use of the R-word to describe Tim Walz faced significant public backlash due to its controversial nature. One of the first to express disapproval of his choice of words was Tim Walz himself, who has since revealed that he has been called the term by bullies mocking him. Furthermore, a video has surfaced across various social media platforms, portraying Trump in a negative light regarding his insensitive remarks.

The video features several individuals on the autism spectrum confronting Trump about his use of the R-word, labelling it as dirty, demeaning, hurtful, and disgusting. They are also seen urging Trump to think carefully before speaking, emphasising that his words carry weight and have real consequences, especially due to the power he holds as the President of the United States.
