Perfect golden doggum Jolene (what a wonderful name) thought that her day was just going to be like any other. Chew on her most favorite-in-the-world Gumby toy, maybe eat some treats later, go for a walk–you know, ~just dog thingz~. Sure, things got weird when one of her humans started filming her with the hard chew toy that she’s not allowed to chew (that’s just what humans do, maybe). But it was a normal day.

That all went out the window when her human came walking into the living room wearing a Gumby costume. Ben Mesches knew that his pupper loved the heck out of her Gumby toy, so it was just a wonderful moment in the making when he tossed on the costume and walked into the living room.

This video is pure. It is joyful. It is everything lovable about dogs and the humans who live with them, and it’s a little bit of a comfort to see in these often frightening times.

Oh, enjoy this remix, too.
