‘Men Are Not Lonely Enough’: Woman Goes on Date With ‘Silly’ and ‘Goofy’ Man but He Blows It at the Door With One Unhinged Action

A woman on TikTok has shared how her perfect date ended in disaster after the man she was seeing physically assaulted her after walking her to her front door.
TikToker, “jordyyyyclement” explained how she matched with a guy on Hinge who seemed trustworthy at first. She said the man even made the effort to make an invite for their first date. Things seemed to be going well and the date went ahead as planned with the man bringing flowers and a bag of avocados because she said she liked avocados. Jordan described him as “silly goofy,” but it seemed like things were going well.
The man seemed to be doing everything right, he’d certainly proved he was a good listener. He saw Jordan to her apartment at which point he kissed her, however, things took a bizarre and dark turn when he slapped her completely out of the blue. “We’re kissing and then he slaps me. Slaps me mid-kiss,” she explained.
Jordan claimed she was too stunned to speak, but when she pulled back he slapped her again. “I pull away just a little, you know what he does? Slaps again.” The man then tells her, “I knew you’d like it rough, you look like you’d like it rough.”
Men are not lonely enough
The people of TikTok were rightfully disgusted by the man’s unhinged actions, this goes beyond red flag behavior. Many advised pressing charges against the man considering what he did would equate to assault, “I would literally file a police report and I’m not even kidding,” one person commented. “Did you report him on hinge at the very least?” asked another, to which Jordan confirmed that she did.
In a second video Jordan shares the texts she sent to a friend after the bad date, in which she writes, “Welp that man isn’t my husband.” Commenters suggested that both her and her friend were underreacting to the situation and once again advised calling the police.
Others in the comment section also shared similar experiences they had had with men who went way too far, “This happened to me too and I was too stunned to even process it until I got home,” reads one comment. Others blamed the porn industry for normalizing such mindsets.
The story even caught the attention of popular TikToker, “@tizzyent” who explained that “kink requires consent,” going on to add that even if she had indicated prior to the slap that she liked being slapped his actions would have still been considered assault as he did not have consent. “You had no reason to think that that was okay,” Tizzyent says before adding “men are not lonely enough.”
