Los Angeles Woman Saved Drunk Stranger in a Club. She ‘Legally’ Broke a Man’s Nose.

Bar fights tend to erupt out of the blue while everyone is in a drunken haze. But Taylor Black (@taylormakesvideos) told social media about the time she “legally” broke a man’s nose after one night out to defend a drunk woman.

In her video “How I Broke a Predator’s Nose Legally,” Black recalled a time when she was invited to a birthday party at a club in Los Angeles. When she arrived, the party only consisted of ten men who had allegedly been high on mushrooms. Black ditched her initial plan and invited another woman whom she had just met to get out of the club with her.

Black went out first, and the other girl emerged thirty minutes later with another female friend.

“We’re going to go to the bar, get a couple of shots, and meet you outside,” the friend told Black at the time. She waited, but the bouncer was starting to clear the bar. It was late, and the bar was about to close.

“So, you make it out to the parking lot, and you realize that this girl you’ve invited has gone from sober to absolutely off her ass drunk,” Black said of the woman. She further explained, “Like, a level of inebriated that she could not have possibly achieved in 30 minutes.”

Black was suspicious, and she realized that the woman must have been drugged. The friend that went with the woman confirmed that they’d only taken two shots of alcohol with a group of men they’d met in the bar. But instead of staying with the woman, her friend went ahead and left.

Black and her most sober male friend decided to stay with the woman, even though they were strangers to her. They discussed how to get her home safely.

Breaking a man’s nose at the club

“You notice a group of guys approach her, and one of them immediately starts getting handsy with her,” Black said. She approached the man and told him that she was currently incapacitated and that he needed to back off. But the man immediately became aggressive.

Black stepped away for a moment, and her male friend tried handling the situation. Instead, it escalated, and they now had to deal with a gang of men. Black told her male friend to watch over the woman, and she rushed into the club to get help from the security.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t find a bouncer. When she got back to the parking lot, there were three men up in her male friend’s face. Meanwhile, the creepy man who was trying to make a move on the drunk woman was already sliding his hand up her shirt.

Black said that she had to do some “drunken math” at the moment. She thought that if her male friend tried to physically intervene to save the drunk woman, the three men were going to come after him. But if Black herself threw a fist in, she assumed that the man was not likely to hit back.

“So, with a confidence that you’ve never had before in your life, you walk right up to him, forgetting that you were wearing a stone-encrusted ring, and punch him in the face so hard,” Black said. She claimed that it was the first time she’d punched someone and that she wasn’t familiar with her strength.

“You break the bridge of his nose open,” she continued. Black recalled the expression of the man’s three friends and how they were staring in shock.

Getting rewarded for doing a good deed

The creepy man was also just standing there, stunned by Black’s actions. Then, he threatened to call the police on Black for assault.

Black wasn’t threatened by the man, since she was raised by attorneys. She explained that in California, a person can claim self-defense in the place of a third party if that person is incapacitated and unable to defend themselves. Basically, the person stepping in defense can use commensurate force against the perpetrator, and it wouldn’t be illegal.

The man was already on the phone with the police, and he asked for her full name. Black told him that she would comply but explained the law to him at first.

“If you call the cops, the first thing I’m going to do is ask for a blood test. How much do you want to bet that there’s roofie in her system right now? And you’re the creepy guy trying to take her home,” Black said. The man hung his phone up and went running down the street.

The owner of the club came out, and at first, Black thought she would get banned from the establishment. Instead, the owner came to praise Black for what she did.

“We need more women like you standing up for women,” Black recalled the owner’s words. “And you never have to wait in line here again,” the owner added.

By helping a woman in need, Black said that she became a part of the VIP list at one of LA’s most prestigious clubs. Although her party days are over, it seems that her heroism won’t be forgotten anytime soon by the internet.
