There's no cross domain hackery or tracking voodoo, it's just some sweet jQuery animations.
Please, think of the animations.
In the meantime, enjoy the html version below. I guess. If that's your thing.
The Prince Wu Dance
As annoying as the future king is, you gotta admit the guy has some pretty slick dance moves.
You want to hug something, go hug a tree!
It's so nice to have Toph back!
Boss. Girlfriend. Same difference.
A very brief interaction with Bolin and Eska after so long was kind of nice. Makes one wonder what she'd think of Opal though...
When we get to see Mako and Bolin acting like brothers it really warms my heart. I still hold to the idea that Bolin gives the best hugs!
SuYin and Batar Jr Faceoff
Is it just me or am I getting a distinct
Lucille Bluth vibe from SuYin in this segment? I'm also convinced Batar Jr is basically Percy Weasley.
I'M MARRYING HER TO SPITE YOU MOTHER!
SuYin's response can be summed up in
this gif. I'm seriously side eyeing this engagement as there hasn't been any affection shown between Kuvira and Batar Jr. Can we get a hug at least, you two?
Toph vs Korra
Toph gets all the points!! And none for Korra, bye.
Korra tries to pull a fast one
The new Avatar hasn't really sunk in the idea that Toph isn't just an old blind lady. You can't pull that ish on the original Beifong! Nice try though, kid.
Kuvira means business
So she throws SuYin under the bus, declares the king has no power, that she's taking over the empire annnnd threatens every nation present. Yeah, that about sums it up.
Because of COURSE Bolin is surprised.
SuYin vs Kuvira
Where in SuYin tells Kuvira to step down and Kuvira threaten's the city of Zaofu. Here we have SuYin's
Kuvira's basically like Korra!
Where in we all have the same face as Mako. "Oh my spirits, Bolin. Did you even hear what you just said?" Sassy Mako is equally as fun as Detective Mako! Bolin escapes his brothers sass by retreating to the ~FREEDOM TRAIN~!
You've still got metal in you.
"You can get it out right?" It's cute how Korra keeps forgetting who the hell she's talking to.
Throne Room Meltdown
Prince Wu has had the worst coronation day in the history of coronation days. You almost feel sorry for him, but then he opens his mouth again. Mako's words of wisdom did ring true though, but one has to wonder if it'll really sink in at all.
Obviously, you still want it there!
Toph brings her tough love to Korra in this scene. While Korra denies she wants to leave being the Avatar behind, Toph's words make sense. The process of pulling the metal out looks brutal, and you have to wonder how that's going to play out later.
Meelo continues to be hilarious
Tenzin decides to send his kids looking for Korra. Meelo's sure he can do it, but his sisters on the other hand... Give him time, Jinora. Give him time.
Kuvira has Varrick working on something special. The question is, what the heck is it for?

They packed a whole load of stuff into this episode. Kuvira being badass,
Prince King Wu getting brooched crowned, and Toph! So much Toph! It’s so wonderful that in a world which has changed so much, Toph really hasn’t changed at all. I’ve gathered some of the most talked about moments from this weeks episode. What did you think of it? Is Bolin ever going to get a clue? Will Prince King Wu work to make himself a better leader? Will Korra get the leftover mercury out of her body? What in the world is Varrick working on with that spirit vine? Tell m3 about your favorite moments and theories in the comments!
