John Boyega’s Finn Befriends Little Stormtrooper and Little Rey at UK Children’s Hospital

Get ready for some high-octane adorable, people. The Force Awakens‘ John Boyega recently made a trip to the Royal London hospital in character as Finn at the request of a very awesome little boy. 5-year-old Daniel Bell loved The Force Awakens. He is also living with a brain tumor. Despite his condition, he’s the kind of kid who thinks about other people in addition to himself, and so when he got a wish through the UK-based charity Rays of Sunshine this weekend, he said that he wanted to meet Finn. But he didn’t want to keep the visit to himself. He asked that Finn come to the hospital to meet all the kids there and hang out and give them toys. Which is exactly what Boyega did. Boyega posted some photos from that day on his Instagram, and seemed to have a great time staying in character and asking Daniel and his friends about Earth life. He also met a little girl named Layla who was wondering about another character from The Force Awakens:

I immediately need to be Layla’s best friend.

What an awesome visit. And it looks like if Finn gets into any more trouble in a galaxy far, far away, there are two Force-sensitive kids in London he can call for advice!
