J.K. Rowling and Amy Schumer Give You Mad FOMO in This Twitter Exchange

Recommended Videos

Amy Schumer is on a tour right now, and from what we’re seeing it’s fantastic. A clip from her recent stand-up in Sweden showed the comedian shutting down a heckler with righteously brutal words to the applause and cheers of many, and a recent tweet from J.K. Rowling praised Schumer as a “goddess.”

In an collision of worlds that we didn’t expect, Schumer replied with a “Thank you so much! Did you like my sister’s gryffindor hat?” Edinburgh is full of great Harry Potter stuff, like The Elephant Cafe and Greyfriars Kirkyard, so it’s only appropriate that Schumer’s sister had some merchandise to match.  Naturally, Rowling who is a Gryffindor herself, was a fan.

Let this be a lesson: you never know when you’ll run into J.K. Rowling, so you should never not wear Harry Potter gear.
