He Took His Friend’s Younger Sister for a Motorcycle Ride. Then Wattpad Got in His Comments: ‘Can’t Wait to See What Happens Next’

Matthew Woods (@thoughtaken) agreed to take his friend’s little sister for a motorcycle ride. But what seemed like an innocent gesture on social media has summoned Wattpad to his comment section.
“Dylan made the tragic mistake of hitting me up, asking me to take his little sister for her first ride,” Woods told TikTok. His friend, Dylan, has a younger sister, Lizzie, who has never ridden on a motorcycle before. Because Dylan doesn’t have a motorcycle, Woods agreed to take Lizzie for a ride. Nevertheless, he made an important clarification.
“I have absolutely no intention of dating my friend’s little sister,” Woods said. Although she’s 21 and of age, he was against the idea outright. However, Woods said he saw an opportunity to anger Dylan by disregarding the rules his friend set.
“Dylan gave me three rules that I apparently have to follow. Number one: she is not allowed to grab me. She is not allowed to hold on to me,” Woods stated. Specifically, Lizzie was forbidden from wrapping her arms around Woods’ waist.
“Rule number two: I am not allowed to buy anything for her,” Woods said. According to Dylan, buying something for his sister would make this motorcycle ride count as a “date.”
“The third rule is, well, you guys will see,” Woods said. He called it ‘stupid,’ and Lizzie would later reveal that her brother asked her not to let Woods drive past her ex’s house. But as soon as they were at the gas station, the pair had already broken several rules.
A clip that caught the attention of Wattpad
Woods told Lizzie that she would have to grab onto him eventually and that she could hold on to his shoulders. He also told her that if she got scared, she could wrap her arms around his waist. Then, when she told him he wasn’t allowed to buy her anything, he asked her if she was thirsty. He said he’d grab them both a drink, which made her briefly worry.
“You’re going to get us both in trouble,” she commented. But Woods shrugged her concern off and said, “I’m gonna get myself in trouble. You’ll probably be fine. I just wanna piss him off.” He returned with a bottle of water for her. When Lizzie told Woods about the third rule, he asked her where her ex lives, and she laughed. The interaction went viral on TikTok, with several commenters shipping the pair despite Woods’ disclaimer.
One commenter wrote, “I see potential for an insane plot.” Some believed that perhaps this was a setup by Dylan himself to try to get his sister with his friend. But even the online publication and writing platform, Wattpad, had something to say about the video. The official account commented, “can’t wait to see what happens next.” Woods’ video amassed more than 18.7 million views on TikTok alone, and it seemed like a popular Wattpad fanfic trope that came to life. But the story didn’t end there, and Woods posted a part two of the motorcycle ride on TikTok.
They broke every rule
In the follow-up video captioned “i’ll deal with it later,” Dylan started calling his sister’s phone. When she picked up, Dylan asked where she was since it was almost 11 in the evening. Frustrated with his sister, he decided to confront his friend instead.
“Please tell me why I just saw on her [expletive] location that you guys went by her ex’s house?” Dylan asked. Woods feigned innocence, denying that he knew the route to the ex’s house. Then, Dylan moved on, asking Woods if she held on to him during the ride.
“Well, she had to. I didn’t want her to fall off and end up on the street,” he added, much to Dylan’s dismay. Seeing two rules broken, Dylan then asked if his friend and sister had already eaten.
“I fed her,” Woods replied instantaneously. Dylan lamented the answer, but Woods continued to explain. “I promise you there’s no ill intent. I promise, I was just trying to show her a good time. She just got dumped, dude.”
But his friend replied, “That does not make this sound better at all, dude. Please bring her home.” After Dylan hung up, Lizzie suggested they stay out a bit longer since her brother was already upset. It seems that Woods successfully got on his friend’s nerves.
