TMZ also argues that a drug dealer in Los Angeles is being targeted as a suspect in the case.
In their reporting, they mentioned that Panettiere’s drug dealer allegedly had a “long time” relationship with the deceased actress. The dealer in question allegedly provided her different varieties of prescription drugs from the black market. Oxycodone would fit the bill there as well. Further details trace the star getting her drugs from the dealer in Los Angeles before boarding a flight to South Carolina with her boyfriend. That’s when things took a turn.
Panettiere’s boyfriend Brian Hickerson reportedly gave the first responders called to the scene the actress’s prescription drugs. Hickerson tried to administer Naran to Panettiere before paramedics arrived, but it was too late. The local DEA’s case now hinges on a toxicology report concerning those drugs. If the authorities test the pills and discover they were laced with Fentanyl, that would give them a suspect that fits with the cause of death.
