Everyone keeps talking about how “the end is near” for the Harry Potter franchise. Well I don’t want the end to be near, I want to rewind to ten years ago when I was just discovering the magic of the books and certain beloved characters were still alive. But at least we get the next best thing, which is this featurette for Deathly Hallows, Part 2. It features flashes of the past seven movies and the final one to come, behind-the-scenes commentary by producer David Heyman, as well a look back at the first ever screen test with the trio when Sorcerer’s Stone started filming. They’re all standing over a big fat book, Hermione’s being a smart-ass, and Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint look a little bit lost. And they’re all so wee! It all brings me back so far into my childhood that I might as well curl up with the third book and innocently wonder what brought Remus and Sirius so close together.
