Expecto a sick beat.

Need an escape from the never-ending stream of scary news? Look no further than this music video that compiles sound effects and scenes from the Harry Potter movies into an electronic music extravaganza. You’ll never be able to look at Severus Snape again without thinking damn that wizard can rock a drum solo.

Titled “Sounds of Harry Potter” from Eclectic Method, the video offers transporting beats and some truly impressive editing skills. I can’t begin to imagine the hours of work that went into cutting together so many sounds and visuals from the Harry Potter movies into this trippy whole. It also serves up a heady burst of nostalgia as beloved images rush past: Wizard chess! Dobby! Scabbers! The Hungarian Horntail! Sirius Black, I miss you every day.

Warning: If you experience issues with fast-moving visuals, this definitely isn’t for you. If, however, the idea of a quasi-psychedelic journey away from our harsh reality is enticing, click away. Accio dance party!
