Florida mom claims vengeful spouse set her up after she was arrested for alleged inappropriate act with family dog
A Florida mother has been arrested and charged after alleged inappropriate acts with the family dog were caught on camera and submitted to the police. However, the woman has denied the accusations against her, claiming they originated from her vengeful estranged husband.
38-year-old mother of two, Malia Nummerdor, was arrested last week after her estranged husband made some shocking and disturbing claims about her on Facebook, reports The New York Post. Erik Nummerdor accused his wife of engaging in sex acts with the family dog and claimed he had the video evidence to prove it.
Erik said that the footage was captured by two security cameras in the home, which he claimed were known to everyone. According to police, Erik reviewed footage from the bedroom camera and realized his wife had taken her relationship with the dog too far. He reportedly witnessed Malia’s alleged sexual act with one of the family dogs, called Ranger. The recording was then handed to investigators by the husband.
He also gave them access to the laptop, which police said “provided an independent source of corroboration beyond Erik’s statements.”
Malia was subsequently arrested and charged with sexual contact with an animal, as per The Post.
Malia Nummerdor denies the accusations
The 38-year-old was interviewed on September 15, but it appeared she was impaired, with Malia reportedly admitting that she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In an arrest report, police wrote, “When asked to explain the dog’s proximity to her genital area, Nummerdor denied sexual conduct and claimed she had merely been lying with and petting her elderly dog near its bed.”
Nummerdor was also “asked to clarify her physical position and the dog’s placement between her legs,” but “was unable to provide any coherent or consistent explanation.”
According to The Post, the mother has claimed that she was set up by her husband who she said was a vengeful ex. Close friends of Nummerdor’s later set up a GoFundMe (which has since been pulled) to help fund the legal costs of battling Erik’s accusation. The online fundraiser says that Malia and her children’s “lives have been turned upside down following a painful and difficult situation involving Malia’s estranged husband and allegations against her that she maintains are untrue.”
The GoFundMe continued, asking for donations to help Nummerdor fight the allegations “through the proper legal process.” The fundraiser description maintains that it is not asking anyone “to decide the facts of the case,” but rather to help “a mother and her children get through an extraordinarily difficult period.”
Before it was pulled, the GoFundMe reportedly only had a couple of donations of less than $20.
