First Official In-Game Footage Of Firefly: The Game Features Mal Talkin’ In Your Earholes

And the music and oh gosh it's like living in Firefly.

The first in-game footage from the Firefly: The Game MMO at NYCC is beyond. Mal! Jayne! The music! Exploring a derelict ship! It’s like every dream I’ve ever had of living in the Firefly ‘verse except just a little bit more computer generated. But hell, I’ll take what I can get at this point. Just hearing Nathan Fillion be Mal again is the sweetest thing I can possibly imagine.

Via Blastr (who totally loved the game, by the way), here’s a description of the above footage from QmX:

The game will have many kinds of encounters for players to enjoy, from desert wildernesses to floating cities to giant automated ships you can freely explore. When it comes to derelicts, you never know what might have gotten to that tasty bit of salvage before you, and what might still be there, waiting for you to drop by… It would be a mistake to assume Firefly Online is only horses, spaceships and sidearms. There are things out there in the Black that you should sincerely hope you never run into.

Sign me right up and call me Shepherd, I’m sold.
