Harry Shum Jr. (aka my favorite part of Glee) is a judge on a new show called Fake Off on TruTV. In this exclusive clip from the upcoming December 8th episode for TMS, amazing performance artists The Body Poets fake an epic zombies vs. pirates battle (no ninjas allowed). It’s pretty rad. Hosted by Step Up 2‘s Rob Hoffman and co-judged by TLC’s (the singers, not the channel) Chili and concept designer Michael Curry, the show highlights “fakers” – people skilled at using theatre, dance, acrobatics, illusion, black light, shadow puppetry, and performance technologies to tell a story. Each week, the performance teams are challenged to re-create a certain theme or moment in pop culture or history – like this black-lit demonstration of the Big Bang. Art and science! Fake Off airs Mondays at 10pm on TruTV! Are you following The Mary Sue on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, & Google +?

Sam Maggs is a writer and televisioner, currently hailing from the Kingdom of the North (Toronto). Her first book, THE FANGIRL'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY will be out soon from Quirk Books. Sam’s parents saw Star Wars: A New Hope 24 times when it first came out, so none of this is really her fault.
