Donald Trump is having a meltdown over Trevor Noah’s comments about him during this year’s Grammys, and it’s hilarious

The Grammy Awards have always served as a platform for artists to make political statements. This year, the scene wasn’t much different. While the common point of protest among the celebrities present at the event was the actions of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the current administration, wreaking havoc on immigrant populations residing in the United States, some individuals also decided to speak on other issues, including host Trevor Noah.

Trevor Noah made it very clear while hosting this year’s Grammys that it was his last year with the event, hinting that he wouldn’t really hold himself back, and he didn’t. Throughout the event held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on February 1, 2026, Noah took several pointed digs at United States President Donald Trump.

Following Billie Eilish winning Song of the Year, Noah said, “Wow. That is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland. Which makes sense. I mean, because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton,” taking aim at Donald Trump for not just his hopes and aspirations of owning Greenland but also his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein case. Call it double trouble if you may.

In a separate segment of the show, Trevor Noah dissed Donald Trump again, focusing on his trend of suing TV Networks, something he has been doing since becoming president for a second term last year, resulting in him banking millions of dollars, contributing to his family’s total wealth. Poking fun at Trump, Noah clarified that the Grammys were “completely live” because if they edited any part of the show, “the president would sue CBS for $16 billion.”

In another part of the show, Trevor Noah taunted rapper and songwriter Nicki Minaj for her recent vocal support of Donald Trump by letting the audience know that she wasn’t in attendance at this year’s Grammy event. “Nick Minaj is not here. She is still at the White House discussing very important issues,” said Noah as the audience broke into loud cheers.

As anticipated, Trevor Noah’s comments about Donald Trump did not sit too well with him, who went on an angry rant on Truth Social after the event concluded. In a detailed post, in which he went as far as to claim that he would be suing Noah, Trump wrote:

Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory, statement, have never been accused being there, not even by the Fake News Media. Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast. It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C.”
