Driving to a restaurant you’re craving should be easy–unless the establishment has already shut its doors for the night. From there, some of us may embark on a journey to explore other options. This Bay Area woman was one of them who ended up regretting her trip to Denny’s to satisfy her Chili’s Triple-Dipper hankering. What she received didn’t meet her expectations.

Denny’s Dinner Disaster

The 15-second clip features TikToker Tshiamo (@t.tshiamo_) sitting in a Denny’s, her eyes squinted and lips downturned on the verge of laughter.

Then, she flips the camera to reveal her “POV: [Chili’s] was closed so you tried the Triple Dipper dupe at Denny’s.” Her plate seems underwhelming: two mini bacon cheeseburgers, two thin mozzarella sticks, and a pile of Buffalo sauce. Next, she moves to her second plate, which holds four Buffalo sauce-doused chicken wings.

Afterward, the content creator unveils the same meal her unnamed male companion has, except his plate has thin chicken tenders bigger than the mozzarella sticks instead. But the most unimpressive moment is his cheese ‘pull’ that instantly snaps.

Needless to say, Tshiamo vows in the caption, “Never doing that ever again.”

What Is This Denny’s Plate?

Most companies experiment with different innovations, for starters, food. Recently, the late-night restaurant chain added the Diner Dipper to its menu. Starting at $14.59, customers can customize their plate by choosing any three items and dipping sauces.

As with anything new, people are flocking to the nearest location to try it out, and, according to USA Today, some social media users who’ve sampled it claim it’s reminiscent of Chili’s signature dish, the Triple Dipper. Under $20, consumers can select three appetizers and their sauces. While not completely identical, both dishes have similar names and some of the same options.

Viewers Had Zero Sympathy

Tshiamo’s clip amassed a whopping 9.9 million views, where many cracked jokes at her expense.

“That’s a little skipper,” one viewer quipped.

“Triple dip tf out of there,” another jested.

“Oh [expletive] no.. now you knew [expletive] well,” a third joked.

Moreover, others suggested the alternatives she should’ve have chosen instead.

“Sista yall should’ve went to applebees,” one commenter remarked.

“Yall should’ve went to the freezer section [in] the grocery store,” a second proposed.

Even Chili’s caught wind of this on its FYP and landed in her comments section, playfully admonishing her, “Now what did we learn[?]”

Essentially, Tshiamo learned her lesson, replying,  “Imma wait till yall open.”

@ttshiamo._ Never doing that ever again #dennys #chills #food #saxophone ♬ original sound – emomarcus96
