If you’ve ever wondered what it might feel like to have Darth Vader himself stare you down, then you’ll probably be interested in what ILMxLAB has been cooking up. They just released a short teaser of a virtual reality experience centered upon the Dark Lord of the Sith. It’ll be written by David S. Goyer (Man of SteelBatman v SupermanThe Dark Knight), and while we don’t know too many solid details about it, we obviously now know that Darth Vader will play a big part.

Either we’ll get to wear the mask and be Vader for a while (y’know, just like when we were kids), or we’ll get chased around by him for a while. Can you imagine an Alien: Isolation-esque experience where you’re trying to escape a Rebel base with this guy breathing down your neck? Dang.

The ILMxLAB project has been going on for quite a while now, and believe me when I say expectations are super high for what they’re churning out. Getting a chance to experience the Star Wars universe from that kind of perspective just sounds perfectly amazing.

What do you think? Will you be checking this out?
