The Cookie Monster Pleads With World to Share Its Cookies, Parodies “Call Me Maybe”

Almost Totally Excellent

You know, for a children’s show Sesame Street has always been a surprisingly deft producer of pop culture parodies. In fact, they can take something that’s been played and replayed and just in general way overplayed on the Interwebs lately–like, say, parodies of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and somehow make it new and exciting again. Or, if not new, at least fun. This time the effort involves the Cookie Monster, roaming through offices and pleading for shared snacks. And really, in this day and age I’d really rather have cookies than phone numbers. We feel your pain, Cookie Monster.
