Soothe Your Carrie Fisher Pain With a Speech Full of Her Blistering Wit

Unsurprisingly, we’re big fans of Carrie Fisher around here—not just because she played an incredible role in one of our favorite stories, but because she was an incredible inspiration in real life. Her speech for George Lucas’s AFI Lifetime Achievement Award puts her incisive wit and charisma on full display, and we can’t think of anything better to remember her by.

She didn’t stand for that kind of nonsense, and we can only hope to follow in her example.
