This Is What Some Helmets Might Have Looked Like if Star Wars Never Happened

For A More Civilized Age

No, I swear. The title makes sense. Imagine, if you will, that Star Wars never happened. Boba Fett never would have been created, and his distinctive armor would never have been designed. That would leave any designer, from a number of movie productions, wide open to use that design should it occur to them… since they would not have discarded it as too much like another iconic helmet.

And that’s how you might get Fett-like designs in Game of Thrones, Iron Man, 300, Skyrim, and/or Total Recall. Or, fine, just call them Boba Fett helmets redesigned by Joe Johnston and Sandy Dhuyvetter, who were on hand when the original helmet was designed, and made for the charitable As You Wish Project.

Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
