Black Panther Will Be First Marvel Film with Majority Black Cast; Ryan Coogler in Talks to Direct

[Brief pic description]

In an interview with Empire, Marvel’s Kevin Feige revealed that Black Panther will have a huge impact on Avengers: Infinity War — Part 1 and Part 2. But that doesn’t mean the character’s solo movie won’t have standalone importance. According to Feige,

This one is important. Not only do you get an unbelievable lead character, but you also get all of Wakanda which is a whole new setting and culture to explore […] The movie is a big geopolitical action adventure that focuses on the family and royal struggle of T’Challa in Wakanda and what it means to be a king.

Feige also revealed that Black Panther will be Marvel’s first-ever movie with a mostly black cast, and that Creed‘s Ryan Coogler is currently in talks to direct.

What do you think, friends? Would you like to see Coogler at the helm?
