Maybe this is just my own experience, but I think the most familiar “dad” thing in this video to me is the casual breaking of extremely minor public rules (such as disobeying “Stay Off the Grass” signs) just to freak out your impressionable young kids who think there’s a chance of you actually getting in real trouble. And I think my father would be proud to have his early parenting remembered in such a way.
