Arizona Husband Teaches TikTok a Simple Trick on How Not to be a 'Bare Minimum' Boyfriend 'Just Stop at Sephora'

In relationships, each small act of care and kindness counts. Care is what makes or breaks relationships in the long run, and it seems that Nash Morgan (@nashjmorgan) from Arizona has a strong understanding of it. He told the men of TikTok to listen up, because going on a Sephora trip could easily help them avoid breakups or divorce.

In his video “How Not to Be a Bare Minimum Boyfriend 101,” Morgan featured his wife’s makeup bag. He said, “Once every couple of weeks, I like to go through my wife’s makeup bag to see what she’s running low on and replace them for her before she realizes that they’re gone.”

While checking her makeup bag, he realized that his wife’s Kerastase hair oil was on the verge of running out. He also noticed that his wife’s Saie tint is also running low. So, he decided to run to Sephora and grabbed the items.

“Also, pro tip: make sure to take a picture of what shade she is. I’ve made that mistake before. You don’t want to make it,” he said of his wife’s tinted sunscreen. Men seem to be intimidated to shop for care and makeup products for their significant others. But taking a photo of what they use makes the job less daunting.

In the off chance that a mistake is still made, Sephora generally accepts returns of new or gently used items within its return window, though shoppers should check the current policy before buying. Besides, Sephora employees can also help shoppers find a specific product or shade.

A trip to Sephora can save a bunch of marriages

“And I always like to get her something a little extra, or something new to try. So today, we got a K18 hair mask,” Morgan added. His wife would have likely been overjoyed at him refilling her stash. But he went the extra mile and gave her a small, extra gift to go along with everything. It was not an extravagant gift, but that was part of the appeal.. Giving her a new item to try shows he at least has an understanding of her preferences.

“Guys, it’s not that hard to show your girl that you pay attention and that you care. This took me literally five seconds to do,” he said. The drive going to the store may take a little more effort, but it shouldn’t be difficult.

“And next time, when you’re running home from work, just stop at Sephora, and I promise you, your girl will love you for it,” he ended. If he wanted to, he would.

It seems the women of TikTok are backing up Morgan’s advice. One commenter said, “Respectfully, my knees would always be so sore if I were cared for like this.”

Another wrote, “This one is allowed to have a podcast.” But it goes to show that for many people, what they long for is to receive small, yet consistent, acts of love and care. This was never about Sephora, because women have different preferences and personalities. Rather, it’s about putting effort into the relationship to keep it alive and thriving.

Some women would be ecstatic to know that their significant other has decided to refill their skin care and makeup stash. Others would simply be happy to have their favorite snacks restocked.
