Animatronics: Still Just As Convincing as Most CGI

Maybe it’s my fascination with puppets. Maybe it’s my fascination with Jurassic Park, which used animatronics and CGI in equal measure.

Okay, so maybe I’m just old fashioned, but I find animatronics at least as compelling and convincing as everything but the best CGI out there, and way more interesting to look at while in production. But maybe the person who owns Jim Henson’s The Story Teller on DVD isn’t the most impartial viewer…
