Amy Poehler Interviews Tiny Feminists, Inspires Us

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Recommended Videos

Oh, Amy. Your smile, your strangely exhilarating cackling laugh, your sunshine hair. We are mighty fond of you. We are especially fond of you when you post new episodes of yourself interviewing awesome young girls who are doing things they love and (according to the tagline of the program) “making the world more awesome by being themselves.” The above video is part of Poehler’s webseries Smart Girls at the Party, which is a “place for funny, thoughtful and deceivingly educational programming,” and which features Poehler and her friends interviewing young women they admire. The newest episode showcases Precela, who is practicing her badassery through boxing.

Oh, and there’s also a dance party featuring the likes of Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen, Jack McBrayer, Will Arnett, Aubrey Plaza, and the creators of Broad City. We encourage you to go back through the archives and check out the other interviews they’ve done. Lots of awesome dance parties, and also lots of awesome young women.
