AMC Theaters Reveals The Force Awakens IMAX Promo Poster

amc star wars

To win your Galactic Credits, AMC Theatres is running a promotion for folks who were lucky enough to snag an IMAX ticket to The Force Awakens. They’re giving away a pretty sweet set of posters, and they unveiled the art for their first one today.

It depicts Rey in a very Binary Sunset-esque pose looking over the ruins of Jakku. Her speeder idles nearby, and lil BB-8 sits, glowing. It’s a pretty moody shot, and very well drawn, in my opinion. The poster was created by Dan Mumford, whose iconic style has been used to give life to other movie posters. The “Fall of Jabba” poster is equally as dramatic.

What do you think of this neat promo? Did you snag a ticket to a theater that’s doing a giveaway?
