‘All Donald Trump did is listen to Netanyahu’: Rep. RO Khanna torches Trump on Fox for using his name in the same paraghaph as Obama
Democratic-leaning U.S. Representative RO Khanna has always been openly critical of Donald Trump and his administration. Since Trump was re-elected last year, Khanna has made several pointed criticisms, especially concerning the Jeffrey Epstein case, which Trump and the Department of Justice under Pam Bondi have long refused to investigate thoroughly.
Once again, Khanna is doing what he does best: criticizing Donald Trump. Not only that, he’s doing it on a channel that has become a tool for the Trump administration. On Monday, while speaking with anchor Maria Bartiromo on a segment of Mornings with Maria on Fox Business, Representative Khanna expressed disapproval when Bartiromo mentioned both former President Barack Obama and current President Donald Trump in the same sentence, implying that doing so was insulting. Bartiromo referenced both leaders regarding their handling of Iran, suggesting Trump has managed the situation better than Obama did during his presidency.
RO Khanna snaps at Fox journalist for comments about Barack Obama
During his Monday appearance on Mornings with Maria on Fox Business, Representative RO Khanna slightly lost his composure when host Maria Bartiromo mentioned both Barack Obama and Donald Trump in the same sentence. As previously noted, she claimed that Trump is managing the Iran situation better than Obama did. She stated that Obama, during his time as President, funneled money and resources to Iran even though he knew the country could use them to develop and enhance its nuclear capabilities.
Representative RO Khanna, while strongly condemning Bartiromo for comparing Barack Obama and Donald Trump, tried to defend Obama by dismissing her claims against him. Additionally, Khanna listed various issues caused by Trump since taking office last year, including the death of 13 service members who lost their lives fighting Iran, rising gas prices that hit record highs during Trump’s presidency, and increased Chinese presence and influence in America, all of which were never cause for concern during Obama’s tenure.

During his Monday appearance on Fox Business, Representative RO Khanna defended former President Barack Obama’s actions regarding Iran, stating that before leaving office, he had laid the groundwork to ensure that Iran did not have or develop a nuclear weapon.
Comparing this to Trump’s approach to Iran, Khanna mentioned that all Trump did was listen to Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. Regarding this, he said, “Israel is going to tell the United States what to do. The American president should call the shots in this country.”
