According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alison Sudol is set to star in Fantastic Beasts alongside Katherine Waterson and Eddie Redmayne.
Sudol will be playing Queenie, the sister to Waterson’s Tina. Sudol, also known by her musical stage name “A Fine Frenzy,” has previous acting experience with recent roles in Transparent and Dig. We’re still waiting on confirmation about Ezra Miller’s possible casting and to see who will fill the role of Newt Scamander’s rival, Jacob.
How do you think the casting for Fantastic Beasts is looking? I’m personally ready to see some more diversity in these casting announcements, especially since J.K. Rowling has said that the Harry Potter spinoff will feature an American school influenced by “indigenous magic.” Thoughts?
