We’re officially about two weeks out from the premiere of Agent Carter season 2, and we can’t be more excited. This new TV spot from the fine, fine folks over at Marvel keeps the hype at max. It’s quick, but it packs one hell of a punch–just like our favorite secret agent.
It’s got spy gadgets, bad dudes, Jarvis (of course), and Peggy herself being all sorts of badass. I mean, any time I get to watch a swashbuckling Peggy Carter with her foil is going to be a good time. It’s also important to point out that there’s some real, uh… tension going on here in this spot between Peggy and Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin), who’s long been held up as a possible romantic interest for the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.
You’ll remember that Austin’s turn as Wilkes marks the show’s first recurring role for a person of color. Having him be a potential love interest is just as exciting, really.
