Woman Flew Her Amazon Delivery Man Out to Las Vegas. Then She Took Him for a Limo Ride to 7-Eleven
It was a delivery he will never forget.
Serena Neel (@serenaneel), famous online for her free 7-Eleven service for delivery drivers, saw a request from one of her followers. Byron (@santaclausnephew), an Amazon delivery driver from Detroit, Michigan, hoped to deliver a package for Neel one day. To make his dream come true, she flew Big to Las Vegas for a special delivery.
“I need to go deliver to her house,” Byron told TikTok. He said that the delivery drivers who happen to encounter Neel on their routes are lucky. Moreover, the Amazon delivery man was also fascinated with how Neel partially converted her home to a free 7-Eleven for drivers. He asked his followers to tag Neel in hopes of being noticed, and Neel did.
“So, we’re flying him out,” Neel said in her latest TikTok video. Once she was out, she panned to the car she was using to fetch Byron. She added, “Oh, and I forgot to tell you, I got a limo to go get Byron.” For the most part, delivery drivers hope to be treated with dignity and basic respect. One DoorDash driver even had an angry customer appear at her address over a failed delivery. But Neel is pulling out all the stops for Byron, and this was just her first surprise.
Byron and his friend were surprised once they saw the limo parked at the airport. They got in and celebrated as they drove to Neel’s place.
“We’re home, and I bought you a package to deliver,” Neel told Byron. As he would in a normal delivery, the man walked out with two large boxes to be dropped off at her address. “Special delivery for Mrs. Neel,” Byron said. When he entered, he was immediately faced with Neel’s famous 7-Eleven store.
The 7-Eleven of his dreams
“I’m gonna take a quick photo first, so that Amazon is cool with it,” Byron said, playing along with the skit. He remarked that Neel’s 7-Eleven smelled like the real convenience store, except he could get food and slurpy for free.
“This slurpy is really good,” Byron commented. In her previous videos, Neel showed how she prepared the food items at her makeshift 7-Eleven. She prepares the slurpy in the machine, buys food at her local 7-Eleven stores, and even restocks her makeshift store with over-the-counter medication.
Neel replied, “Thank you, I measured it with my heart.” Byron was impressed by the makeshift store, but Neel wasn’t done with her surprises. He unboxed one of the packages he delivered, and it was a free 7-Eleven shirt and a few other items.
An Amazon delivery driver’s dream
“Are you ready for your next surprise?” Neel asked, and Byron followed her to her backyard. She announced, “Welcome to hibachi!” It turns out, Neel hired a chef so that they could throw a hibachi for Byron. While waiting for their meal, Neel and Byron played a few party games. Even the chef was eager to entertain, showing off a fire-breathing stunt during the party.
“Unfortunately, we need to take our dinner to the car because we’re already on our next surprise,” Neel said. Just when he thought it was over, Neel mentioned The Sphere, an entertainment arena Byron wanted to go to. While on the drive, Neel revealed yet another surprise.
“We got you tickets to see The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere,” she said, and Byron’s jaw dropped. Neel left Byron and his friend at the show. When she picked them up, Neel also gave them a quick tour of the Las Vegas Strip.
When they got to Byron’s hotel, he also gave Neel gifts from his home city of Detroit. He got her snacks, goodies, and a ‘We Hate the HOA’ shirt, an inside joke among Neel’s followers. When Neel left, she expressed that she was glad to have hosted Byron and his friend.
While Neel’s homage to delivery drivers is nothing short of grand, others express gratitude to their communities in small but impactful ways. One man has even spent 100 days cleaning a different block of New York City, and his actions sparked inspiration in his community.
