Woman Goes In for a Routine Pregnancy Checkup. Then Her New OB Allegedly Says She’s Going To Kill Her, Her Husband, Then Steal Her Kids

Your doctor is supposed to be your safe space, but in this case the situation is quite the opposite

Woman goes in for a routine pregnancy checkup, and her new OB says she's going to kill her, then her husband, then steal her kids

A woman’s visit to the OB (obstetrician) took an unexpected turn when the doctor said certain things that left her wondering whether the doctor was serious or just joking. In a TikTok video, @alexandraarosee (Ally) said she didn’t go to her usual OB and opted for a new one during her ongoing pregnancy. She also took her kid with her.

As Ally narrated the story, it seemed everything went normally for the first few minutes of her interaction with the doctor. However, shortly after, things started to take a “weird” turn.

The doctor suddenly seemed to focus on the beauty of Ally’s child, which, though she mentions it in her video, she admits wasn’t off-putting at first. However,  Ally says, soon, the doctor shifted focus to Ally’s unborn child and showed enthusiasm for finding out whether it would be as beautiful as the existing child. Ally recalls that when the doctor was measuring her belly and placed a hand on it, she joked, “Well, if this baby is as beautiful as your first, I’m going to kill you… and then I’m going to kill your husband, and then I’m gonna steal your children.”

“I’m begging you to report her”

Ally said she took action against the doctor because she did not consider the behavior normal. She said that even if the doctor was joking, she could not understand why anyone would joke about something like that. She then revealed that she called the OB’s office to report the issue, but the person was only “surface-level apologetic.”

Ally mentioned that they were not as keen on taking her matter seriously as she was and even tried to stress that she is loved by everyone, possibly to invalidate her experience. This isn’t the first time someone has shared an account of an unfavorable experience at the OB’s. Notably, a woman who wanted to secure an appointment with the OB-GYN left voicemails at the office with her contact information. However, when they called, they reached her husband’s ex-wife instead of her.

Some people in the comments section of Ally’s video are shocked by what she experienced and are urging her to pursue her case even further, legally. One user wrote, “I’m a nurse and you need to report this to the medical board immediately. Please.” Another said, “She has access to YOUR ADDRESS!!!!! PLEASE for your safety, report her to the medical board AND the police!!! This is not a joke and it is not funny at all.”

A few others shared stories of experiencing something similar. One user commented, “This reminds me a time a male doctor was feeling my neck, checking my lymph nodes and he said “i have to resist the urge to choke you.” Another user stated, “We one time had an xfinity installer tell us that our daughter looks like an amber alert baby – like one you’d steal and we immediately reported her once she left. It was a horrible feeling.”

Although rare, cases of doctors stealing babies are not unheard of

In 2018, a Spanish doctor was found guilty of stealing babies but was later acquitted because the statute of limitations had expired, according to a Guardian article published on October 8, 2018. Eduardo Vela, who was 85 at the time, served as an OB at Madrid’s San Ramón clinic. He faced accusations of taking a child named Inés Madrigal from her biological mother in 1969 and handing her over to a 46-year-old woman, who then raised her. To support his case, Vela also allegedly falsified crucial documents, including certifying the 46-year-old as Madrigal’s birth mother.

While Vela was found guilty on all counts, he escaped a prison sentence solely because a lot of time had passed between the occurrence of the incident and when it was reported. Considering this incident, it is clear why Ally would be scared for her unborn child. Often, it is very difficult to understand what a person’s motives are until it’s too late. In this case, the doctor explicitly said certain things that didn’t sit well with Ally, which makes her reaction pretty valid. Better safe than sorry.
