Arizona Woman Tells Her Husband She’s Getting Ready for a Date. But He Doesn’t Remember Planning One: ‘When Was the Last Time We Went There?’
Take Notes!

A woman from Arizona has a creative way of reminding her husband to take her out on more dates, and it seems to have worked.
TikTok user @keelygaffney shared a video to her account where she’s getting ready for a date her husband supposedly planned, showing how excited she is to go out. But there’s a small catch. Keely’s husband didn’t actually plan the date. She’s just pretending to go on a date he planned as a reminder to set up a real one in the future.
@keelygaffney has her husband convinced that he forgot about a date he had planned
In the video, Keely, showing her excitement about going out with her husband, says she hasn’t done her makeup the way she was doing it for her date “in a while.” Her husband, looking confused yet eager, asks, “Um, yeah, go where?” to which she replies, “For the date you planned for tonight. What’d you mean?”
Following this, the confusion on Keely’s husband’s face seems to intensify, but he responds with “Yeah, I know,” possibly to avoid offending her. Afterward, Keely mentions they haven’t been to the place they’re going on a date in a long time, prompting her husband to ask when the last time they were there was. When Keely says she doesn’t remember the last time they visited, her husband says the same. Then he asks what she’s going to wear, and she responds that she’ll wear jeans and a blouse. When Keely asks him the same, he says he’ll wear jeans and a college shirt.
There is some back-and-forth discussion between Keely and her husband, and at some point, Keely says he doesn’t seem excited about the date, to which he replies that he is. This prompts Keely to ask if he forgot about the date. He assures her he didn’t and mentions he set a reminder on his phone about it. Next, Keely asks her husband where he’ll be driving her for the planned outing, which makes him appear nervous, and he begins to laugh nervously. Finally, Keely reveals to her husband that she’s been joking all along and there’s no date after all. Hearing this, her husband says, “There can be,” and Keely bursts into laughter.
In other news, a woman investigated the late-night calls her husband received and traced them back to his estranged sister’s husband.

How frequently should married couples go on dates?
An article by The Knot discusses their 2024 Relationship and Intimacy Study, which identified how many dates married couples typically have. Among the married participants, about 51% reported going on one to four dates with their spouse in the past three months.
Around 22% went on five to nine dates, 10% enjoyed about 10 to 14 dates, and 11% said they had no dates at all. Since three months roughly include 12 weekends, having at least one date per weekend, only 10% of couples managed that, whereas 84% had less than one date per week, if any.
