Man goes to Denny’s in search of Chili’s Triple Dipper Dupe. Then the server admits something shocking: ‘I really hope he don’t get fired’

If you’ve been on the internet, you may have heard of the Denny’s Diner Dipper, commonly referred to as the Chili’s “Triple Dipper Dupe.”
In April, the restaurant launched this menu item. At $14.59, customers can choose three appetizers and three sauces to customize their own plate. This became a viral sensation for its affordability and, of course, its mirror image of the iconic Chili’s platter.
However, it hasn’t stopped people from seeking it out to try it. Last month, one woman embarked to Denny’s to satisfy her late-night Chili’s craving only for it to fail her expectations.
So, what does a food vlogger think?
An Adventure To Denny’s
TikTok creator Chris (@everybodyeatschris) has amassed 156,000 followers for his food reviews. This time, he takes over 636,000 viewers on a journey to try the viral Denny’s dupe.
“Apparently, Denny’s has a triple Dipper Dupe,” he says, standing in front of the locations. “Let’s go try it.”
Once he enters the building, he sits at the counter where a female employee is standing on her phone.
“Hey. Do you have the Triple Dipper Dupe?” he asks her.
“Yeah, we do,” the female employee responds.
When the female employee hands him the menu, a male employee named Key joins the conversation.
“Is it better than the triple Dipper?” the content creator asks.
Immediately, Key shakes his head.
“I never had it,” the female worker says.
Then, Key dishes his candid critique. “It’s a knockoff ’cause you know Chili’s, they come with flavor,” he says. “The elite cheese pull.”
Nevertheless, he does recommend the content creator sample it.
“You should try it. It might be good,” he says.
As a result, Chris takes Key’s advice and places his order. “We’re getting the Diner Dipper. The slider, the [mozzarella sticks], and the bone-in Buffalo sauce.”
The Taste Test
After Key hands him his to-go container, he’s impressed with the appearance.
“It actually looks pretty good,” he says, panning over the food. From there, it’s the moment of truth, where the mozzarella sticks are up first.
“Let’s try the mozzarella sticks with some ranch,” he says, biting into it, without a cheese pull. “There’s no cheese pull but it’s still good. It’s actually very cheesy.”
Next up is the bacon and cheese slider.
“It’s really good,” he says, going to town with it in the ranch. Last but not least are the wings.
“Mmm, it’s a little salty. Let’s add some barbecue sauce,” he says, dipping the wing into the sauce, deeming it, “Much better.”
This begs the question: was it worth it? Well, he did polish off his food is an indicator.
Before exiting, he gives the final verdict to Key: “It was pretty good. I wish the mozzarella had a cheesepull. I mean it was still pretty good.”
What Did Viewers Think?
For the most part, many disregarded the review, and Key was the star of the show.
“I think mans needs a job at chillis,” one viewer joked.
“He’s so real for that,” a second stated.
“I really hope he dont get fired for being honest,” a third remarked.
Meanwhile, those who have tried the meal shared their opinions.
“I tried it on my channel. I like it too!” one commenter said.
“Don’t be fooled it’s not good lol,” a second remarked.
