It’s never fun when someone talks about you behind your back, but what do you do if that someone is your seatmate on a plane? And, even worse, texts about you in plain sight?

For Ellasandra Muse (@ellasandramuse), this involved confronting the texters directly—but their reaction wasn’t what you’d expect.

The viral video, which has garnered 3.8 million views, begins with a snippet of Muse’s fiancé calling out their seatmate. Then she shares the storytime, which Muse filmed in her car.

What Happened On This Delta Flight?

She explained that she and her fiancé were on a Delta flight from Tampa to Los Angeles. Someone was in the middle seat, which was Delta Comfort, between them, so she offered a woman the aisle seat, which she readily accepted. The woman’s best friend was in the seat behind her.

Then, Muse says she took a Dramamine tablet she bought in the airport for motion sickness. Soon after, the two women switched seats. The content creator says they kept getting up, whispering, and laughing. Her fiancé was concerned they were taking photos of them. After that, Muse fell asleep. When she woke up, she saw that one of the women was taking photos, and not even attempting to hide her phone.

The brightness was up, and the text was big, so Muse could see exactly what they were saying about her. Aghast, the TikToker sent photos of the texts to her husband. She then shared these photos in the video as she went through the texts she could see.

What Did They Say About Her?

“This [expletive] next to me brings out her box of dramamine and can’t open the tablet,” one text read, according to the screenshots.

“I told H I need a swift switch,” they added. “[Expletive] can’t deal with that lol.”

“The [expletive] dramamine and I’m like [expletive], you and your long hair are incompatible with life,” a third message read.

In a fourth text, the woman said that H speculated on whether Muse was pregnant. The text went on to say that they hoped she’d have a “spon abortion” (a miscarriage) “since she’s too much of a child herself.”

“I’d bring my violence and punch her uterus,” a fifth text declared.

Then, the texters allegedly started sharing “lies” that Muse is touching her with her feet so much that her boyfriend told her to stop.

“Didn’t happen,” the TikToker says coolly.

As she looked at the seatmate and then her fiancé, she saw her seatmate text the following: “Omg not lying. Now the [expletive] next to me is crying and [expletive] boyfriend is not helping.”

“What?!” the fiancé interjected.

But the issue wasn’t just reserved to texts. “What I can’t explain with these photos is that they are looking at us, getting up, laughing, taking a photo, sitting down,” Muse explained. While her fiancé chimed in that she was a “fully grown woman, by the way.”

In a further text, it read: “All I want to do is some of the stitches they did on the Dominican fight.”

Muse continued, “We had to sit there for two hours as this is happening,” adding that she was “shaking.”

She said she didn’t feel bad because her partner is going to say something to them, assuming they’d be apologetic.

Instead, they “laughed in [their] face.”

Her Fiancé Confronts The Women

The clip then changed to one of her fiancé calling out the women directly.

He starts by asking one woman what brings them to California. She talks about them missing their connecting flight after delays, which led to them being on this flight. She also mentioned cruise plans.

Then, he goes in for the kill.

“You want a recommendation?” The partner asks.

“Yeah,” she says.

“Turn your brightness and your font size down so that people next to you don’t see you talking about kicking them in the uterus and saying that they’re a [expletive],” he says. “Just a tip.”

In response, both smile. The woman he’s talking to says: “Uterus?” while the other one says yes.

“Just talking about my fiancé, just a heads up for your connecting flight,” he added.

“Uterus?” the woman repeats.

“All love,” the fiancé adds.

The women were left silent and smiling, which Muse says in her video went on for about five minutes. As a parting note, the fiancé said: “If you’re watching this…” and gave the finger to the camera.

People Were Appalled At The Delta Passengers

Many commenters were shocked by the behavior.

“She’s a nurse, I’ve never felt more confident in a statement,” one wrote.

“This is actually INSANE,” a second added.

“The eyes,” a third noted. “Demonic behavior.”

“She’s clearly just jealous of your youth, beauty and relationship,” a fourth assured. ” Seems like a miserable old hag.”

Other commenters were surprised that taking Dramamine is so controversial.

“I’m confused on what’s wrong with Dramamine,” a fifth said. “Why did that make her so mad?”

“This is so confusing…” a sixth commented. “What about the Dramamine set them off? I’m so confused?”

How Do You Deal With Rude Seatmates?

This isn’t the first time that someone’s unpleasant texts about a seatmate on a plane have gone viral. Back in October, TikTok user Vanessa Confessore shared a video of herself looking upset in a plane seat.

“We’ve taken off and I can’t stop crying,” she wrote via on-screen text. “This man next to me sends 1 text, ‘ugh HUGE woman sat next to me. And now I feel like a prisoner for the next 2 hours.”

“I started crying immediately, not sobbing, but just teared up,” Confessore told People Magazine. “I was very emotional.”

She continued, “It was a little bit of an older man, so the text on his phone was very big. I just have eyes and I happened to look over and it was right there in my face. As soon as he sent it, he immediately sent like five blank text messages to push it off the screen, like he was very aware that this was close surroundings and it’s very possible that people can see your phones.”

Confessore says she made the post to encourage people to “choose kindness,” and said that the process was “a little bit therapeutic.”

“The amount of people that came out of the woodwork to take a moment out of their day and tell me the impact that I’ve made on their lives… made the kind of raw sharing of this weird moment worth every second,” she added.
