Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene Are Back at the Center of Another Trump AI Controversy

He’s at it again.

Donald Trump is at it again with his AI-generated social media posts, and this time, Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene are caught in the crossfire. Over the weekend, the President shared a series of AI-manipulated images on Truth Social, taking direct aim at a group of his former allies and critics. The post featured Carlson, Greene, and a handful of other high-profile figures crammed into a black SUV, all looking less than thrilled about their fictional road trip.

According to Reality Tea, the image, posted on May 31, shows Thomas Massie grinning behind the wheel, with Greene riding shotgun. In the backseat, Carlson is wedged between Candace Owens and Lauren Boebert, while Rand Paul lounges in the very back.

The backdrop is the U.S. Capitol, and the caption delivers the punchline: “Get in loser, we’re going losing.” It’s a clear dig at the group, many of whom have either fallen out of favor with Trump or publicly criticized him in recent months.

This latest AI stunt isn’t just a random jab

It comes on the heels of Massie’s loss in the Kentucky primary to Ed Gallrein, a candidate Trump openly supported. Greene, too, has found herself on the outs with the President, who recently called her “wacky” and accused her of shifting too far left.

Carlson, once a vocal Trump ally, chose to distance himself from the President back in April. Owens has consistently been on the receiving end of Trump’s “low IQ” insults. Even Boebert and Paul have faced the President’s wrath for their stances on key issues, including Boebert’s push to release the Jeffrey Epstein files and Paul’s votes against GOP priorities.

If you’re sensing a pattern here, you’re not wrong. Trump has made a habit of using AI-generated images to mock his opponents, and this latest post is just another example of how he wields the technology to settle political scores. The SUV photo is a calculated move to remind his base who’s still in his good graces and who’s not.

The President had more to say

He also took a swing at New York Governor Kathy Hochul with another AI-generated image, this one showing him dunking a basketball over her head. The caption reads, “PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP vs. Kathy Hochul, New York’s failed Governor who, if people are smart, will vote for Bruce Blakeman — He will, MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN!”

According to Huff Post, the post is a direct response to Hochul’s recent jab at Trump calling himself a lifelong Knicks fan. She challenged him to name the starting lineup of the “1993 championship team.” Spoiler alert: the Knicks haven’t won a championship since 1973, so her attempt to call out Trump’s sports knowledge backfired pretty hard.

This isn’t the first time Trump has used AI to roast his critics, and it probably won’t be the last. The technology has become a go-to tool for him to craft exaggerated, often humorous visuals that drive home his points. Whether it’s a basketball dunk or a cramped SUV ride, these images are designed to be shareable, memorable, and just a little bit petty.

For Carlson and Greene, this latest dig is just another chapter in their complicated relationships with Trump. Greene, in particular, has had a rocky few months. After years of being one of Trump’s most vocal supporters, she’s found herself on the receiving end of his criticism, especially after she allegedly “went far left” in his eyes.

Carlson, meanwhile, has been vocally stating that he doesn’t support Trump for a while now, and this post is a clear signal that the feeling is mutual. It’s almost like watching a high school drama unfold, but with higher stakes and way more memes. The SUV image is especially telling because it groups all these figures together, as if to say, “Look at all the people who’ve turned on me.” It’s a visual shorthand for betrayal, and it’s effective.
