‘Plz act NOW’: Adam Kinzinger caught something strange about Donald Trump, and now everything is adding up
Everyone’s talking about it.

Former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger recently took to X on March 30, 2026, to share a significant observation, noting that “Trump looks physically fragile nowadays.” In response another X user SA cautioned, “Meantime he will get us killed, plz act NOW.” These comments arrive as a growing number of reports and public appearances have sparked widespread discussion about President Donald Trump’s overall health and physical capabilities.
The 79-year-old president has faced increasing scrutiny over his health, particularly after several public events where he appeared to struggle. According to The Daily Express, a video widely circulated on X this past Saturday showed Trump seemingly having a tough time descending the stairs of Air Force One at Mar-a-Lago. He appeared to waddle from the aircraft exit, carefully making his way down the steps, even pausing for a brief rest midway.
One user commented on the video, saying, “Yesterday, Trump had a real tough time getting himself positioned to sit in a chair. This morning, I saw video of him descending the stairs at AF1 – he not only held the rail for balance, but he stopped and paused halfway down. He’s definitely been rickety and unsteady of late.”
These observations really highlight concerns over the president’s well-being
Another person added, “Wow! Trump really is looking old, tired and disheveled – he can barely make it down the steps of Air Force One!” A third user speculated that “Trump can barely get off the plane. The Iran war stress is aging him rapidly.”
This isn’t an isolated incident, either. On March 20, Trump visibly struggled to lower himself into a chair during a White House ceremony honoring the 2025 Navy football team, where he was presenting them with the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy. Observers noted that he gripped the table with both hands and twisted into an awkward position, his face contorting as if bending his knees caused discomfort, before finally managing to sit down.
Beyond these specific moments, there have been ongoing concerns about Trump’s health in recent months. His “cankles,” a term used to describe swollen ankles, have been noticeably prominent at various important meetings. His legs appeared to be bulging as he sat with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in the Oval Office recently.
The Daily Beast reported that Trump was diagnosed last year with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition where leg veins are damaged or weak, making it difficult for blood to return to the heart. This diagnosis, combined with the persistent hand bruise that has been visible on his hand, has certainly fueled speculation about his overall well-being.
Despite his own visible struggles, Trump bizarrely tried to deflect attention to former President Joe Biden’s health during the Navy football ceremony. As he signed the executive order, he made a point of noting he didn’t use an autopen, a jab he has leveled against Biden multiple times in the past.
Trump makes a pretty bold claim given his recent public appearances
Furthermore, Trump also insisted on the day that he is the “healthiest” president ever. He even cited the opinion of former White House physician Ronny Jackson to back up his claim, bragging, “I’ll never forget, they said, ‘Who’s the healthiest president?’ Because he covered Obama. He covered some others — I don’t want to say who. And Trump. He said, ‘By far Trump. There’s nobody even close.’”
Kinzinger’s recent post also fits into his long-standing pattern of criticizing Trump’s fitness for office, both mentally and physically. As a vocal Trump critic, Kinzinger has previously described Trump as looking “tired” and “rambling” during briefings. He has even commented on stress-related signs and body odor in past appearances, using these observations to argue that Trump lacks the steadiness needed for leadership during crises.
Needless to say, things are particularly intense for Trump right now. The U.S. is deeply involved in the ongoing Iran conflict, with military operations, strikes, and related diplomatic efforts taking up significant attention. Trump has been highly active with public statements, X posts, and briefings on the war, energy issues like the Strait of Hormuz, and foreign policy.
Kinzinger and other critics have repeatedly argued that Trump failed to adequately prepare the American public for the scale and duration of the Iran war. Domestically, Americans are also grappling with soaring prices for gas, beef, and electricity. His numerous weekends away from the White House have drawn criticism from various quarters.
