The shocking lengths A-list publicist Peggy Siegal went to restore Jeffrey Epstein’s elite social standing
Birds of a feather.

New revelations have emerged detailing the lengths A-list publicist Peggy Siegal went to restore Jeffrey Epstein’s elite social standing. Siegal’s career completely unraveled after her deep ties to Epstein came under intense scrutiny following his 2019 arrest on sex trafficking charges. The Department of Justice released roughly 5,000 emails between Siegal and Epstein, sent from 2009 to 2019, that shed new light on their seemingly symbiotic relationship.
According to Fox News, Siegal, who once represented huge names in Hollywood like Steven Spielberg and Harvey Weinstein, recently opened up in a tell-all interview with New York Magazine about what she actually gained from her association with Epstein.
A significant detail is that Epstein gifted Siegal $100,000 for her 70th birthday in 2017. “I had no problem taking his money,” she said, adding, “He had lots of it.” Siegal even laid out her plans for the huge sum in an email to Epstein. She wanted to throw a birthday bash in Southampton for 70 guests, setting aside $30,000 for it.
Siegal’s choices are proof of just how far some people would go to stay connected to power
Another $15,000 of the ‘birthday gift’ was earmarked for a donation to Elton John’s AIDS Foundation, which would grant her access to a party at his house in June. She also planned to use some of the money to help with her apartment renovation, awaiting a custom “amazing brown and beige leopard rug that is wall to wall carpeting for my whole apartment and being made in France.” She even told Epstein, “When the apartment gets done, you’re my first visitor.”
Despite claiming she never visited Epstein’s infamous island or traveled on his plane, Siegal was instrumental in helping the criminal regain access to elite social circles after his 2000s jail stint. She got him invited to the 2013 Met Gala and secured him spots at exclusive dinners alongside A-list personalities such as Martha Stewart, Lorne Michaels, and Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
She also routinely added him to screening lists for films and occasionally brought him along herself. A close associate of Siegal’s claimed the publicist became “the linchpin” for Epstein’s social life.
Andrew, Weinstein, Woody Allen – the whole #MeToo gang was there
Perhaps the most bizarre revelation is Siegal’s involvement in planning an A-list party for Epstein, with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as the guest of honor. Emails show Epstein was keen to befriend Woody Allen and suggested Siegal invite the director.
“Woody is a great idea. Do you know Woody? I do,” she wrote back, even considering potential issues. “Could there be any resistance because he had a public issue with Soon-Yi? … just thinking ahead.” She suggested inviting Allen’s close friend, art dealer Lorinda Ash, thinking, “He may feel better if people he knows are around [him]. On the other hand a royal may intrigue him.”
Siegal insisted that this dinner was a “total exception” and she never hosted parties for Epstein. She claimed her real motivation was to get Harvey Weinstein’s film The King’s Speech in front of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Queen Elizabeth II, as “Harvey had been trying to get a quote from the queen.”
Looking back, Siegal now claims she “jeopardized” her relationships with “all these important people” by inviting them around Epstein, stating, “They did not know who he was.” She also stated that “World-famous newscasters didn’t know who Jeffrey Epstein was,” even though The New York Times did report on his 2008 jail stint.
Epstein also wanted Siegal to find him a “baby mama”
The emails also revealed Epstein’s unsettling request for a “baby mama.” “You shmooze and find me a baby mama,” Epstein wrote. Siegal’s response: “A baby Mama … if I wasn’t 102 I would take that job in a nano second.” Epstein clarified his “needs,” asking for “great genes,” and someone “smart, pretty, funny if you were fifty years younger, whoops, forty.”
Siegal then offered some truly bizarre suggestions: “I am thinking this is a position for a European who understands the mistress (in this case baby mama) mentality. You need someone young without much of a career. Maybe a professional student, someone who is kept and can just keep going to school. Also, who doesn’t have much of a family herself. A wanna be socialite is NOT the way to go. Looking and looking. xoxo Peg.”
Siegal admitted she “wasn’t oblivious” to the fact that Epstein was “morally compromised” and a “con man.” She said, “I was in denial, but if I tell you that he told me he changed his ways, then that’s telling you I knew that he was a pervert.”
