Forget Iran’s death toll, Donald Trump’s too busy admiring his beautiful ballroom to care about actual human lives

A majority of Americans, including some of his most devoted followers, are unhappy with Donald Trump allying with Israel and waging war on Iran. However, it seems Trump is unaffected by the criticism he is receiving, as he continues to insist that US and Israeli forces would not leave Iran until things are handled.
For the most part, while the world is at the brink of war (thanks to Donald Trump, who now serves the interests of Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel and not America), the President has refused to answer critical questions about the US attacks on Iran. At times, he has willingly participated in conversations about the event; however, he has done so from a place of extreme pride, without considering the number of lives lost in this blatant display of power.
Donald Trump is deflecting questions about the US’s war on Iran
Many people are furious over Donald Trump waging a war on Iran by partnering with Israel and are demanding answers. However, he is busy with something else. During the recently held Medal of Honour ceremony at the White House, Donald Trump, after briefly speaking about the war in Iran and the US soldiers who had lost their lives due to it, shifted his focus to something much more important: his ballroom, the one he has been building for months with the help of donations from billionaires.
To give an idea of how ridiculous he sounded while manoeuvring himself from discussing Iran to his under-construction ballroom, here’s some context. After highlighting how the US forces were able to complete their mission in Iran before the anticipated time, Trump, in his address during the Medal of Honour event, said, “Join me in thanking every American service member who bravely is standing in harm’s way. They really are incredible, and I just want to thank you. We have a lot of them right here. Thank you very much…We have a lot of great service members here with us, too, in this beautiful building. Isn’t it beautiful? We’re adding on to the building a little bit. We’re improving the building. See that nice drape?… I picked those drapes in my first term. I always like gold… believe it’s going to be the most beautiful ballroom anywhere in the world.” Outrageous, right?
Megyn Kelly, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Gavin Newsom have called Trump out
As highlighted previously, Donald Trump is receiving flak from several people for his actions in Iran. Gavin Newsom, who has been one of Trump’s strongest critics in the last couple of years, during a press interaction, brought up Trump’s speech during the Medal of Honour ceremony and expressed disappointment over it. Discussing the incident, Newsom said, “Four service members died today, and Donald Trump spent more time talking about his ballroom than he did about the loss of those lives.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is Trump’s friend turned foe, also has a few things to say about the US’s decision to wage a war on Iran. Taking to her X account on Monday, she wrote, “And just like that we are no longer a nation divided by left and right, we are now a nation divided be those who want to fight wars for Israel and those who just want peace and to be able to afford their bills and health insurance.” Similarly, Megyn Kelly, in a video that is currently circulating on social media, is suggesting that the US was fighting in Iran on behalf of Israel and that it had become a pawn in the hands of Benjamin Netanyahu.
