‘It’s not his kids’: Rep Jason Crow disses on Trump as he warns Americans of death in the light of the US’s attacks on Iran

On February 28, 2026, the United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran to overthrow its current government, resulting in the demise of its supreme leader, Ali Khamenei. While several people belonging to the Middle Eastern country are, right now, celebrating the news of Khamenei’s death, especially women who were crushed under the regime’s regressive views and practices, many are unhappy with the events that have transpired.
In the second category are mostly Americans who believe that Donald Trump should not have interfered with the matters of foreign countries and that, in doing so, he was making the United States a target, making it vulnerable to future attacks or worse, leading it into war. Representative Jason Crow is one of the individuals who hold this view, and he spoke about it during a conversation with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on February 28, 2026.
Representative Jason Crow does not support Trump’s attacks on Iran
It was not the responsibility of the United States to take Ali Khamenei out, irrespective of how many people disliked, This is a view that is being held by several American people in the wake of the US’s attacks on Iran. After all, US troops are being deployed; they are the ones whose lives are on the line, and all of this is occurring with the help of the American taxpayers’ money. Hence, why would the people of a nation, who have in the last few years been repeatedly fed the idea of an “America first” approach, accept all of this?
Representative Jason Crow echoed the words of all Americans who hold this view during his recent appearance on CNN News. Speaking of Trump’s attacks on Iran and dubbing him as privileged and elite, Crow, while referencing a speech he made on February 28, 2026, announcing the US’s attack on Iran and minimizing the suffering of the soldiers deployed in the mission, said, “…How amazing of Donald Trump to say, you know, “That often happens in war.” And that’s a cost he’s willing to take. Great for him! It’s not his kids. It’s not his family. It’s not his billionaire donors who are having to go off and do it.” He further added, “This is everything that’s wrong with our national security infrastructure and our policies. Elites make decisions. They talk tough. They pound their chests, and then everybody else is left holding the bag. Enough is enough.
Representative Jason Crow wants Congress to vote on the military action taken in Iran
Since last year, whatever drastic decision Donald Trump has taken, he has done so without the approval of Congress. Many individuals representing the government body have therefore rightfully expressed concerns and asked for a say in such grave matters with little to no effect, as it’s Trump we are talking about here. He listens to no one except his pea-brained Republican co-workers.
Despite that, Representative Jason Crow is willing to do everything in his power to soften the intensity of the developments happening in the United States under the Trump administration. When asked by Kaitlan Collins if he would like to see the Congress vote on the military action in Iran during his recent appearance on CNN, Crow replied with a “Heck yea, I do,” followed by, “I think we should go back to D.C. right now. I’m willing to jump on a plane in an hour and go home and take up a vote on this, because that is what the American people deserve. They deserve accountability. They deserve to know who is willing to take chances with their national security, their kids’ lives, their taxpayer dollars. Let’s take the vote. I want names.”
