In the video uploaded by Katelyn that is going viral on TikTok, she reveals that she always had doubts about her ex’s sister, as she seemed to dislike her and attempted to malign her at every chance she got. However, she noted that at the time she didn’t give much thought to it because she thought that they shared a close brother-sister relationship.

She states that he began ignoring her and ghosting he,r causing her to worry. Then one day, when she was hanging out with a friend, she saw that her ex was spending a significant amount of time at a park through GPS tracking. Curious about his whereabouts, Katelyn took her friend to the park and began looking for her ex and to their horror, they found that he was doing the “squirrel dance” on his sister. In the video, Katelyn then reveals that she broke up with her boyfriend but did not tell his parents about what exactly had happened.

A study published by the National Library of Medicine on April 26, 2014, evaluated social and demographic characteristics of incest cases in a university hospital in Turkey. The subjects for the study were selected from a sample of incest cases referred to the Forensic Medicine Department of Gaziosmanpasa University Medical Faculty Hospital between 2008 and 2012. It found that from the 43 incest cases, two-thirds of the victims were under the age of 18. It also concluded that all the perpetrators were men. As for the type of incestuous relationship that was found to be the most prevalent within this sample, it was father–daughter incest, making up about 34.9%. Brother- sister incest came second in line, contributing about 14%.
