Crybaby Donald Trump now pitching his Greenland invasion idea to Norway’s PM, with a ‘prize’ as the cherry on top

Trump insults Jerome Powell, says he will 'fire' him

On January 19, 2026, multiple pages on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), reported on the disclosure of a private letter sent by United States President Donald Trump to the Norwegian Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre. As highlighted in these posts, Trump allegedly informed Støre that, contrary to his past practice of promoting “peace”, he would henceforth be putting America first because he was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for efforts in that department.

As mentioned, a copy of Donald Trump’s letter to Jonas Gahr Støre is currently going viral on social media. The first half of the letter reads:

Dear Jonas: Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America.”

The second half of his letter addresses his interest in Greenland and his need to acquire it. In this section, Trump tries to highlight why the United States must seek control of Greenland and why Denmark could not do as good a job in protecting the territory from nations like Russia and China as the US could. Additionally, he spoke about the historical presence of Danish ships in Greenland and said that it does not grant them the right to “ownership” of Greenland, stressing that US ships have also been present in the area, thereby granting both countries equal opportunity to seek control of the territory. He said:

Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? There are no written documents, it’s only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also. I have done more for NATO than any other person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States. The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland.”

Trump’s letter has received a massive response from people online, who are mostly making fun of him. People cannot believe that someone of his stature could act so pettily over not winning a prize. Others are worried about the next three years that he will be serving as the president of the United States. In just one year of his presidency, Trump had managed to spread chaos within America and around the world.
