‘Impeached solely for this’: Donald Trump just turned the White House into a circus arena, and there isn’t much that people can do

For a long time, Donald Trump has been trying to rewrite history with his words. However, this time he is attempting to do something similar with his actions. On December 18, several news outlets shared videos directly from the White House showcasing a pathway inside the White House that Donald Trump calls the ‘Presidential Walk of Fame.’ The same received a wide range of responses (mostly negative) from people online.

On Thursday, journalist anchor and CNN’s chief White House correspondent, Kaitlan Collins, posted a video on social media from inside Donald Trump’s ‘Presidential Walk of Fame’ that highlighted photographs and plaques featuring former Presidents of the United States, with descriptions that read like “Truth Social posts.” Collins provided the example of Barack Obama, whose image was accompanied by the claim that he was one of the “most divisive political figures in American history,” who also passed the “highly ineffective Unaffordable Care Act.” She also mentioned Joe Biden, whose real picture was replaced by that of an autopen signing his name, with the words below it indicating that he was “the worst President in American history.” Biden was also described using certain terms that Trump has repeatedly used in recent months, such as “sleepy” and “crooked.” The plaque also asserted that Joe Biden became President after winning the “most corrupt election ever seen” in America.

There were several plaques of Democratic presidents that included unflattering descriptions, but there were also those of Republican presidents, which were notably more moderate. Among these was Ronald Reagan’s plaque, which pointed out that he was a fan of Donald Trump “long before” his “historic run for the White House” and that Trump was also a supporter of Reagan and his work.

To add to this, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has reportedly disclosed to NBC News that President Trump himself was involved in curating many of the plaques that describe former Presidents of the United States. In her statement, she said:

“The plaques are eloquently written descriptions of each President and the legacy they left behind. As a student of history, many were written directly by the President himself.”

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we could tell that the descriptions were written by Trump even without her sharing this information. The erratic use of uppercase and lowercase letters, the ridiculous nicknames, and the pointed criticisms all have Donald Trump written all over them.
