‘Stop attacking pedophiles’: Yes, Ted Cruz actually chose these words like it’s a normal thing to say

Senator Ted Cruz Angry Donald Trump Keeps Getting Indicted

Trump supporters and MAGA promoters are saying things as it is these days, no hiding. Ted Cruz, who has been United States President Donald Trump’s vocal ally since his re-election in 2025, is saying something Trump’s supporters have failed to accept out loud.

During a Senate hearing on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, Ted Cruz, in a shocking turn of events, asked people to be sympathetic towards pedophiles and stop attacking them. He said:

“..Let’s stop attacking pedophiles.”

A slip of tongue or a grand exposure of his truest intentions? No one can tell.

That said, before extending his support for pedophiles, he also supported the reaching of a bipartisan agreement related to crime. Referring to the same, he said:

“How about we all come together and say, ‘let’s stop murders? How about we all come together and say ‘let’s stop rape?”

He probably should have stopped here. But, unfortunately, he didn’t. After making the distasteful comment about pedophiles, Cruz continued to elaborate on the decrease in crime rates that were caused by the deployment of the National Guard.

He claimed that since the step, there was a 57 per cent decrease in robberies and a 58 per cent reduction in homicides. He also claimed that the percentage of sexual abuse crimes had dropped by 48 per cent. There is no evidence to support these claims, but if he is saying so, there must be some truth behind it.

Only 3 months ago, Ted Cruz had embarrassed himself on the Tucker Carlson show. Speaking to the host, he had emphasised the need for regime change in Iran while extending his support for Israel, referring to the latter as a friend of America. When Carlson had opposed his view and asked him to highlight the facts on the basis of which he held his stance, he had failed to mention any concrete ones. Not only that, he also called Carlson’s behaviour anti-semitic due to him not supporting Israel.
