How Many Episodes of ‘Invincible’ Are There?

When it comes to animated or live-action superhero series, they can sometimes be a bit corny. It’s hard not to be when budgets aren’t wide for certain series, the dialogue can be cheesy, and overall themes for superhero series are usually redundant (good vs. evil type of ideas). But there’s occasionally a series that manages to not be corny or a cringe fest.  Invincible on Amazon Prime happens to be a fine example of that. Based on Robert Kirkman’s series of the same name, Invincible is a story about a 17-year-old boy, Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), and his transformation into a superhero by way of guidance from his father, Omni-Man (J.K Simmons).

Being the son of one of the most powerful superheroes in the world is one thing. But not knowing the true nature of part of your lineage is another. Mark’s struggle to become who he wants to be (and is expected to be) is perfectly depicted. Proving that Steven Yeun truly has the chops to voice act. Also, having Mark be a character of color voiced by an Asian American actor is pretty cool. And with a rich story, diverse characters, and a very loaded cast of actors, the show became a great success. Even going so far as to be renewed for two more seasons. That said, how many episodes are available to watch right now?

Currently, there are 8 episodes of Invincible to enjoy.

Episodes 1-8 titles are as follows:

  • “It’s About Time”
  • “Here Goes Nothing”
  • “Who You Calling Ugly”
  • “Neil Armstrong, Eat Your Heart”
  • “That Actually Hurt”
  • “You Look Kinda Dead”
  • “We Need to Talk”
  • “Where I Really Come From”

Folks can watch the whole first season with an Amazon Prime subscription. And you can still purchase the comics if reading those first is a personal requirement. Be warned though, it’s quite gory and doesn’t shy away from violence. Essentially, if you don’t like live-action like The Boys, then the violence in Invincible may not be for you.
