DVD Antipiracy Ad Highlights Increasing Desperation of DVD Lobby [Video]

Recommended Videos

Watch this, it’s only 40 seconds and it is deeply satisfying. Notes:

1. The high five-loving group of friends who watch DVDs certainly do seem happier and more attractive than the glum, grey-apartmented glasses-wearer, all downloading his torrents like a loser.

2. What kind of torrenting client blinks bright red and says “FILE CORRUPTED ABORTING DOWNLOAD”? Also, guy’s connection speed is seriously lacking.

3. There is a delectable irony that this video was (according to YouTube comments) an unskippable ad on a DVD.

4. Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story plays a far more prominent role here than one would expect from an ad for DVDs that are good.
