The news this morning all seems to be shades of scary and bad, but do you know what is most excellent? A herd of tiny goats dashing to and fro and doing their goat thing, which entails climbing up unlikely surfaces and wearing wee sweaters.
Goats, man! Who doesn’t love goats. They’re my favorite of the farm creatures for their curious personalities and sense of adventure. And what’s cooler than a grown-up goat? Kids with their adorable high-pitched bleat. Well, Sunflower Farm Creamery just made this day a lot more promising with footage of their baby goats on their daily dash across the farm to be fed.
Here’s the word from Sunflower Farms: “This has become the kids daily routine. They love to run up and down the drive before bed! Then they sprint into their stall for grain. Well except for Angeline, who prefers to practice her balancing act.” I feel you, Angeline.
As Laughing Squid notes, the Cumberland, Maine dairy farm has a tradition of recording their goats’ dashing shenanigans. If you need a new YouTube channel to subscribe to, well, friend, you’re in luck. Take, for existence, their breakout video of a chihuahua puppy who thinks that she’s a baby goat:
