Sony Asked Kids About Cell Phones, Wes Anderson Created A Short Film About It (With Robots)

We don’t often post videos that are simply advertisements for something but in this case, we couldn’t help ourselves. So yadda, yadda, yadda, Sony is putting out a new cell phone but they had the awesome idea to pick kids’ brains about what cell phones actually are and how they work. The results? Predictably adorable. But it doesn’t end there. They then tasked Wes Anderson, director of The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox , and the upcoming Moonrise Kingdom, to create a short-film about it. It has robots. Robots with rocket fuel. The actual results should be out in a full spot on March 24 but here’s a sneak peak.
