Here’s John Boyega laying down a sick beat. You know, just because.

  • Now that Vice President Joe Biden is about to ride off into the sunset with his pal, President Barack Obama, he might be looking for a career change. How about Hollywood? Apparently he’s going to be appearing in an episode of Law & Order: SVU. Can’t you hear that Law & Order sound now? (via THR)
  • Despite the fact that “the holidays” are still months away, Hot Topic is showing off their line of Doctor Who holiday-themed merchandise. There’s even an ugly Christmas sweater. (via Nerdist)

In an almost-month that has been absolutely jam packed with Pokemon Go news, it seemed only fitting that we close out this work week with a nostalgia trip fresh from the past. The original singer of the Pokémon theme song returned to the studio to record the song that made his singing voice a household name so many years ago. (via Nerdist)

  • It seems that the artist who designed that super rad Dazzler album cover seen in X-Men: Apocalypse has called out Fox for not crediting him for his own art. (via CBR)
  • If you’re heading out to see Suicide Squad next week, you can save yourself a bit of waiting: there won’t be any post-credits scene, but there will be one mid-credits. So, you know, you don’t have to hold it in if you need to go to the bathroom. You can just go when it’s done. To the bathroom, that is. Not in your seat. Don’t do that. (via Comics Alliance)

If you’ve read anything I’ve written this week, you know that I’m absolutely dying over Stranger Things. So this short video of a flipbook mashing up Stranger Things with one of its influences, E.T., has got me geeking out something fierce.

What’d you see today, pals-o-mine-ohs?
